Bambu Lab H3C: Official Specs, Open Questions, Models
Bambu Lab announced the H3C, a tool-changer 3D printer, on 3 November 2026. This page sums up what Bambu Lab has published on its official H3C product page and press release, as we read them on 4 November 2026, and keeps a separate list of what Bambu has not said yet. We have not tested the printer, we quote Bambu's own figures with their conditions, and the prices below are Bambu Lab's published prices, not a PrintWhat quote. What Bambu Lab has confirmed
Tool changer: Bambu's Swaptek system switches between nine PrintTools, each with its own filament path and heater. Bambu quotes a 3.4-second tool change and a material switch of as little as 6 seconds; its footnote says the 6 s figure comes from internal testing under optimal conditions with PLA Basic and filament-saving purge mode. Active Pre-Heat warms the next nozzle before the change.
Purge: Bambu quotes 0.038 g (38 mg) per change, again from internal testing under optimal conditions; real purge varies with settings and filament.
Flexible filament: the FlexFeed extruder supports both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm filament and is aimed at soft TPU down to 75A. Bambu's 3x claim refers to maximum volumetric flow in internal testing compared with the previous generation using 1.75 mm filament.
Temperatures and motion: all nine nozzles are hardened steel and reach up to 350 °C; the chamber has active heating up to 65 °C. Bambu quotes acceleration up to 25,000 mm/s² and travel speed up to 1,400 mm/s.
Filament handling: the AMS 3H is a nine-slot, fully enclosed filament system with auto-loading and a built-in two-slot dryer rated to 85 °C. Existing previous-generation Bambu AMS units can be connected through PrintTool No. 1 as an auxiliary AMS, for up to 24 spools; those units are sold separately.
Mixed nozzle sizes are supported with extra hotends sold separately. Optional CraftTools (cut, draw, deboss) mount the same way and are sold separately. Official accessories named by Bambu are Bambu Station L and the E1 Air Purifier.
Price: Bambu Lab's press release lists the H3C AMS Combo at US$2,499 (excluding tax, including shipping) and €2,499.00 in the EU (including VAT).

What Bambu Lab has not said yet
As of 4 November 2026 we did not find these on Bambu's official H3C page: the build volume, the bed temperature, and an upgrade path from the H2C or H2D. We will update this page when Bambu publishes them rather than repeat leaks or reseller listings.
Finding H3C models and accessories
Bambu's product page shows showcase prints such as the Maker Watch, a multi-color TPU bag, a hinge lamp and a CMYKW color-mixing figure. Search "H3C" on PrintWhat to see results from several model sites at once; each result links to the original author's page, where you should check the license and the printer profile before printing.
